Hello Kirk Families,
Here is what’s happening around Kirk this week!
1- Kirk Student Council’s Helping Hearts for MS fundraiser will be held from Feb. 7 – Feb. 21. They’ll kick off the fundraiser with a Bake Sale and Craft Fair this Friday, Feb. 7!! You are welcome to donate crafts to the fair that will be sold with all proceeds going to the National MS Society. Each classroom will also have a jar during the fundraiser where children can put in bills, change, or checks for the MS Society. Help us get 100% participation and beat last year’s donation of $1933. See the enclosed flier for details.
2- Elementary Awards Assembly is this Friday, Feb. 7 at 8:45am. Elementary children will have yoga this Friday, so please bring their mats and have the girls wear shorts under their skirts and dresses. It is also an early dismissal day for K-5th as well at 12:15pm on Friday.
3- This weekend is a Sharky’s weekend! Time to go out and eat, meet, and greet your friends and family at Sharky’s all while helping to support our Kirk School! 15% of your total Sharky’s bill will be donated back to Kirk if you visit between Friday, Feb. 7 and Sunday, Feb. 9. We have enclosed the flyer for your convenience. Hard copies went home with the children this week. Be sure to give the flyer to your cashier and feel free to forward it on to other family members and friends who would like to help support our school.
2- Your Pancake Breakfast Committee is working hard to prepare a fabulous breakfast and basket raffle for your enjoyment on Saturday, March 8, 8am-11am. However, they need your help collecting donations for the basket raffle! We are including a copy of the packet here in case you need extra donation letters!!
3- Each classroom is putting together a themed basket for the raffle at Pancake Breakfast. See your room mom for your classroom’s theme and help your class create an amazing basket!!

Children in grades K-5th grades have a chance to earn a Magic Mountain amusement park ticket if they complete 6 hours of reading before Feb. 24.
