Prom Prep 101, Pretty Girl Rock

This year Kirk O’ the Valley participated in Prom Prep 101, Pretty Girl Rock, by donating dresses, shoes, purses, and time. This year 123 young foster girls 14-18 years old, were matched with volunteers as their personal stylists, even some church folks and parents from the Kirk school. Later that evening, the girls were chaperoned down the red carpet by some of our gentlemen and handed roses before dinner and dancing began. This event takes well over 200 volunteers because each girl is match with a volunteer for the day, consider being a part of Prom Prep with your pre-teen girl next year.

Thank you to those of you who donated new and lightly used items. Thank you to the volunteers who came out to Prom Prep. Thanks to countless others who helped technologically and helped us search the city for donations.
