Alert: School Closed today 12/15/2015
Dear Kirk Families,
Due to the credible threat alert issued by the Los Angles School District causing the closure of all LAUSD schools, it has been recommended that Kirk O’ the Valley School close as well. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the safety of your children is of utmost importance. Hence, the school will be closed today.
Administrators will be on campus to alert those families already en route.

With over 13 years of experience in the IT industry, I work closely with small businesses to provide a wide range of technology solutions. As a trainer and consultant, I guide educators, students and professionals in the proper use of technology as a safe, effective yet creative tool in the classroom and office. I developed Braingears, a new educational initiative from RM Consulting, to meet the ever growing demands of technology in the the 21st century classroom. After watching my son, Jack, spend 8 wonderful years at Kirk, I knew I had to be involved. The kids, the staff, the families… everyone drew me in and I just couldn’t leave. I LOVE KIRK! Additionally, I am the CFO and technical advisor for Habit Forming Films, LLC., an independent multimedia production company. Also, I serve on the board of the nonprofit organization, Girls in Power (www.girlsinpower.org), where I work with teens in the culinary and technology fields. In my spare time, I like to cater small parties and play basketball with Jack.

Elementary Spring Concert Friday, May 9 at 7p.m. – Picnicking and Tailgating in the parking lot – Lot opens at 5pm
The elementary children under the guidance of Miss Kat have been preparing a show for you that you won’t want to miss!
There will be picnicing and tailgating in the parking lot before the theater (Sanctuary) opens and the show begins!! Spots will be first come first serve and lot will close at 6pm.
